Aha Hoolokahi 2025 aims to weave a lei of mauli ola, bringing together pua from all islands, diverse experiences, expertise and walks of life, to celebrate our lāhui and honor the strands of health and well-being.

2025 Native Hawaiian Convention
We are excited to announce that the 2025 Native Hawaiian Convention will take place on the ʻāina of the Tulalip Tribes. Join us for this three-day celebration of Hawaiian cultural exchange, connection, and enrichment at the Tulalip Resort Casino. This year we are gathering on the continent in Washington State–no ka lāhui–for the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement's annual signature event!
WHAT IS IT? For over two decades, the Native Hawaiian Convention has served as one of the largest gatherings of Native Hawaiians to discuss hot topic issues, systemic solutions, and moving forward within our community. This three-day event will feature discussions and workshops on cultural perpetuation, housing, education, self-determination, and how to stay connected as a lāhui.

The Tulalip Tribes is a federally-recognized Indian tribe located on the Tulalip Reservation. The Tulalip Reservation exterior boundaries enclose a land-base of 22,000 acres, more than 50 percent of which is in federal trust status. It was created to provide a permanent home for the Snohomish, Snoqualmie, Skagit, Suiattle, Samish and Stillaguamish Tribes and allied bands living in the region.

Roots of Change
Join Dr. Benton Keali’i Pang, a Hawaiian ethnobotanist and cultural practitioner. Together, we’ll explore how to write a resolution and use writing as a tool for reflection, healing, and connection. In this workshop you’ll learn how to frame issues, provide historical context, and express clear intentions—empowering yourself and your community.

Rooted in Wellness
Join Dr. Benton Pang, Hawaiian ethnobotanist, to explore plants found outside of Hawai’i that support cultural practices and promote healing. This session invites us to reconnect with nature and discover how traditional knowledge nurtures both self and community.

LVHCC is partnering with Regal Cinema for the premiere of "Lilo and Stitch" on 23 May at 6:30pm. Keiki Hula starts at 5:30pm and lVHCC will have an information table

E `Ōiwi Ē Workshop
Join Mehanaokala Hind and Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu for a special mele workshop to learn and connect through the powerful anthem ‘Ōiwi Ē in preparation for an unforgettable filmed presentation at the 2025 Native Hawaiian Convention.
This is a kāhea to stand together as one lāhui across the U.S. Whether you’re a seasoned chanter or just love to sing, we invite you to be part of this momentous event.

2025 Prince Kūhiō Parade
Submit your application to participate in this year’s Prince Kūhiō Parade, happening on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Kapolei. The parade will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. at Kapolei Hale and conclude at Ka Makana Ali‘i Shopping Center.
Each year, the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs hosts this special event to honor Prince Kūhiō’s extraordinary legacy as both a prince and a U.S. Congressional delegate. Known as Ke Ali‘i Maka‘āinana (Prince of the People), Prince Kūhiō dedicated his life to uplifting the Hawaiian people, inspiring the founding of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement in 1918.
