Nā Lei Makalapua

`Ōlelo Noeau #327: "E lauhoe mai nā waʻa; i ke kā, i ka hoe; i ka hoe, i ke kā; pae aku i ka ʻāina".

"Everybody paddle the canoes together; bail and paddle, paddle and bail, and the shore is reached".

Meaning: This proverb is a call to action for everyone to "pitch in with a will" and work together for a common goal, as united effort ensures a task is completed quickly and the destination is reached.
